Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally when she was a teenager in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show included The Snow Queen. As part of the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods the actress won a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. She went on to reprise her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. She was also nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly appeared in the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof (2004). When she graduated at Princeton University, where she graduated with the degree of B.A. on Religion, and was a Triangle Club member, Molly was a student at Princeton University. in Religion. In college, Molly made her acting debut in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly's acting career continued after her leaving college with various Off Broadway plays, among them End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked as a TV actress as a character in Royal Pains as well as an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly is a regular in regional productions such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington the Stage Company and the NSH Music Theatre's production of 2008 and Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank as Anne. Molly's best-known performance is on the set of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the teenage daughter. Also, she was a part of Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and directed by Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
